Resolving PST Backup Failure on a File Server
Never store Outlook PST (Personal Folder) file on network storage devices! That's what Microsoft suggests by stating that PST has not been designed for long-term and constant method of storing messages in any enterprise environment. Many of the network administrators think that the traditional strategy of backup will also work for PST. So they store the PST files on a network which is shared centrally, and let Outlook access them, and run a scheduled backup. But the administrators need to understand that PST stored on any network share is susceptible to certain conflicts that can eventually corrupt the file. In such situations, backup availability becomes a must-have asset or it can call for pst file recovery solutions.

A commercial PST File Recovery utility uses effective scanning procedure to diagnose and repair the corrupted PST. These software are easy to install and use.
This method works in most of the cases, but it also has some limitations. It can not scan large PST files and could not repair PST file, which is damaged due to external reasons. In such critical situations, PST Recovery applications come for your rescue.
